Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who uses Amigurumi Generator at amigurumigenerator.com. By creating an account or using the free tools you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

What the service does

Amigurumi Generator produces written crochet patterns from a description or a photo you provide, and offers free calculators for pricing, resizing and yarn substitution. Patterns are generated drafts. We check the structure of what is produced, but we cannot test every pattern by crocheting it, and your own tension will change the finished result.

Your account

You need an account to generate patterns. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or Google account secure, since either can be used to sign in. Accounts are for one person. If you believe someone else has used your account, contact us and we will help you secure it.

You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live. If you are under 18, use the service with a parent or guardian.

What you may do with generated patterns

Patterns you generate are yours. You may crochet them, change them, give them away and sell the finished items you make from them, with no royalty or attribution owed to us. This applies on every plan, including the free one.

You may not resell or redistribute generated pattern text itself as a standalone product, and you may not use the service to build a competing pattern generator or to bulk-generate patterns for redistribution.

What you may not upload

Do not upload photos you have no right to use, images of identifiable people without their agreement, or anything unlawful. We may remove uploads and generated content that breaks this rule, and we may suspend accounts that do it repeatedly.

Plans, credits and payment

Paid plans and credit packs are sold through Polar, which acts as merchant of record. Polar handles the payment, the invoice and any sales tax or VAT due where you live, and their terms apply to the transaction itself.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Monthly generation allowances reset at the start of each billing period and do not carry over. Purchased credits do not expire and are used only after the monthly allowance is spent.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Generation depends on third-party model providers, and we may pause it during incidents or maintenance. If generation is unavailable for an extended period, contact us — see the refund policy.

Limits of liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost yarn, lost time or lost sales resulting from a pattern that did not work out as expected. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from your settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless the law prevents it.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the application before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
